邓涛,男,汉族,四川自贡人,博士,教授,博()士生导师,学院副院长。分别于2002年、2005年毕业于新葡的京集团3512vip,获工学学士和理学硕士学位;2012年毕业于四川大学,获理学博士学位;20163—20173月任英国思克莱德大学光电子技术中心访问学者。学术兼职:国家自然科学基金项目评审专家;部分省市相关科技项目和科技奖励会议评审专家;IEEE J. Sel. Top. in Quantum Electron., IEEE/OSA J. Lightwave Technol., Opt. Express, Nonlinear. Dyn., Opt. Commun.等主流学术刊物的论文评审专家;西南大学校学术委员会委员;重庆物理学会常务理事;重庆物理学会科普专委会主任;重庆市光学学会理事。

主要从事半导体激光非线性动力学及其在光混沌保密通信、微波光子学、光子神经网络等信息技术领域应用方面的研究工作。已主持或主研国家及省部级相关科研项目20多项;在国内外主流学术刊物上发表学术论文100余篇;授权发明专利10多项;2项成果获重庆市自然科学奖。主要承担《光学前沿》、《普通物理实验》、《大学物理实验》等课程的教学任务。
